Save battery power while transferring maps to your GPS unit, or while you just acquaint yourself at your leisure with the features of your GPS.
Useful too as a lower cost alternative to the USB Data Card programmer for transferring maps to the data card in your StreetPilot, ColorMap or GPSMAP 176 series unit. The map transfer won't go any faster, but you'll save battery power.
