GPSTrackP System helps Lacombe Waste Services improve productivity and control operating cost of its service vehicles 
Ottawa, Canada, February 12th, 2004 - Lacombe Waste Services, "A Caring Canadian Company" in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada is purchasing GPSTrackP System from Mobile GPS Online to help dispatch managers improve productivity and control operating cost of their service vehicles.
GPSTrackP - a low cost yet powerful GPS tracking system for vehicle and driver management will allow Lacombe Waste Services to better plan the daily dispatch route for more than 300 portable toilettes distributed in the entire Ottawa area. It will help to reduce the costs associated with overhead of different drivers dispatched to the same or neighboring area, the unauthorized use of vehicles and excessive fuel use. With GPSTrackP software, the customers to be served can be displayed on the map for dispatch managers to pick them up easily for an optimal work route. The planed route is then printed out for a driver to follow. By assigning a small portable GPS data logger to the drivers, the activities of the driver will be recorded. Through the logged trip data, managers can monitor and compare the real working route with the planed route. It is simple and very cost-effective. "This is probably the best tool I've ever seen to help us plan the work route and keep track of performance of individual drivers efficiently. If someone stops and sits for two hours we'll know. If someone isn't doing what they're supposed to be doing during work time, we'll know - it's like riding in the seat with them and being invisible." The dispatch coordinator Warren Larry said.
