Buy and Sign Up the WebGPSTrack System

Setting up the WebGPSTrack for your asset tracking is fast and simple, please follow these 3 simple steps. Failure to complete all 3 steps will delay the system setup procedure.

Step 1:

Buy a WorldTracker from us and a cell phone SIM card from your local GSM wireless network carrier or service provider.

For Canadian customers, you can buy the GSM SIM card from a Rogers store. For US customers, you can buy GSM SIM card from a T-Mobile or Cingular Store.

Note: For the WebGPSTrack service, we just need a SMS enabled GSM SIM card. The voice function is not necessary. To save your monthly cost, you can find a best SMS service plan from your local wireless service provider. For example, Rogers in Canada offers the following monthly plan:

Step 2:

Pay your WebGPSTrack account activation fee and monthly service fee.

For your WebGPSTrack services, we charge two fees: the account activation fee and monthly service fee. The account activation fee is for you to use our WebGPSTrack server and access your personal tracking website for one year starting from the actual account activation day. The monthly service fee allows you to ping your tracker for the location reports.

The account activation fee is not refundable after your account has been activated. But it will keep your account valid for one year. After one year from the activation day, you can renew your account or your account will be closed.

The account monthly service fee is refundable if your remaining service time is longer than one month. No refund for the service time less than one month.

When you sbuscribe to WebGPSTrack system to activate your account, your account activation fee includes the first monthly service. After the first month service, you need to renew the monthly service to continue.

Step 3:

Activate your account and start tracking your asset.

After you paid for your WebGPSTrack account activation fee, please charge the power of your WorldTracker for two hours and then insert the SIM card into it. Turn on the power and email us to activate your account. Please wait for a while for us to program your tracker properly. It takes typically 1 to 2 hours after you turned on the power. You will receive an email once your tracker has been programmed and you may then turn it off.
